Timothy J. Karcheski, 57

Timothy J. Karcheski, 57 of Plover, passed away late Wednesday evening February 2, 2022, at Aspirus St. Michaels Hospital.

Tim was born October 24, 1964, in Stevens Point. He is the son of Carl Karcheski of Stevens Point and the late Brenda J. (Barden) Karcheski. Tim attended local schools in Stevens Point and graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High School in 1983.

He married Holly Hanson in 1986. the couple later divorced. He later married Barbara Kuklinski on September 9, 2009, in Waupaca. His wife Barbara survives.

Tim was a great musician, playing trumpet for the Rhythm Kings Polka Band for many years. Tim started working at a young age, as he worked for West Gate Super Market at the age of 15. He also worked for Mid-State Airlines (Now Central Wisconsin Airport), also worked for Milkowski Beverage, Coca Cola Co. in Plover, Pepsi Co., and other beverage companies. He was the Chairman of the Town of Plover for over 16 years.

In his free time, Tim enjoyed hunting and fishing and going to bingo. He loved being chauffeured around by his loving wife Barb in her convertible mustang with the windows up and the top down and the heater blowing in the spring and in the fall, as fall was his favorite time of year.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Bronislava Council 31880.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Tim’s name will be established at a later date.

Survivors include his wife Barb of Plover, his children; Dustin Karcheski, Dylan Karcheski, Dayne (friend Savannah) Karcheski, and their son Everett. His father Carl Karcheski of Stevens Point, one brother Jeff (Sue) Karcheski and their children Kyle, Tyler, and Jenna, and his maternal grandmother Minnie Barden.

Further survived by his stepchildren; LeaAnn Diercks and her children Hunter, Tori and Kendrah, Amanda (Edwin) Berg and their children Kierrin, Keyanna, Kaylynn, Mason and Grayson, Samantha (Jacob) Langrude, and their children Ayden, Elayna, and Joseph. His brother-in-law Peter (Carol) Kuklinski and two sisters-in-law; Rita (Paul) Meshak and Sheila (George) Kedrowicz.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother Brenda Karcheski, and a step son Joseph Kuklinski.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church. The Very Reverend Ed Shuttleworth officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bronislava Church until the time for mass.
