Jessica Angeline Kugel, 40

Jessica Angeline Kugel, 40, of Plover, Wisconsin went to be with her Lord and Savior unexpectedly and entered into eternal peace on April 29, 2024.

Jessica was born September 26, 1983 in Racine, Wis., to Brad Raymond Kugel, Sr. and Sheryl Jean Obernberger (Kugel) née Neumiller.

Jessica worked at Sentry Insurance as a Senior Customer Service Representative. She was a graduate of Waterford High School in 2003, with an Associate’s Degree in Marketing from Mid-State Technical College in 2008, a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Lakeland University in 2012, and near completion with only two classes remaining of her Master’s Degree in Business Management with a Project Management Focus from Lakeland University.

Jessica was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stevens Point. She greatly loved life and sharing her faith with everyone she knew. She enjoyed finding beauty in all things. She faced many challenges in life with resilience, strength, and determination. She liked to cook, bake, sing, read, swim, travel, camp, or just about anything that involved spending as many moments as possible with her beloved family and friends. She adored her nieces and nephews. Jessica will be remembered as one whom illuminated our hearts with her kindness, compassion, and faith.

Jessica is survived by her mother, Sheryl (Robert) Obernberger née Neumiller; her brother, Brad (Rachael) Kugel II; her sister, Kristen Polack née Obernberger; brother, Brandon (Kristin) Kugel; niece, Faith Obernberger; nephew, Prestin Kugel; niece, Olivia Kugel; and great-niece, Harmony Campbell. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Jessica was proceeded in death by father, Brad Kugel, Sr.; her infant daughter; her grandparents, Paul and Ruth Kugel; grandparents, Philip and Lorraine Neumiller III; and uncle, Phillip Neumiller IV.

Services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stevens Point on Monday, May 6 at 12 p.m. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. preceding the service at the church. Friends and loved ones are encouraged to wear pink in Jessica’s memory.

Jessica will be laid to rest at Niebull Cemetery in Hancock, Wis. on Monday, May 6 at 3:30 p.m.

Boston Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
