County seeks applicants aged 65+ to serve on ADRC Commission

Portage County — The Portage County Executive’s Office is seeking applications from residents aged 65 and older to fill a vacancy on the Commission on Aging/Aging and Disability Resource Center (COA/ADRC) Board.
The 10-member board, composed of three County Supervisors and seven citizen members, plays a crucial role in setting policies and providing guidance for programs serving older adults and individuals with disabilities in Portage County.
The open position requires a candidate who is 65 or older and a resident of Portage County. Individuals with financial interests in or serving on the governing boards of specific organizations providing services in Portage County are ineligible, as are county employees without prior authorization from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
The selected candidate will serve a three-year term, ending the Monday before the third Tuesday in April, and will receive a per diem and mileage reimbursement for their service.
