Santa Claus is coming to Heritage Park.

The Portage Co. Historical Society has secured an appearance by the jolliest elf at the park from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10. Heritage Park in Plover, 2700 Madison Ave., will transform into Santa’s Christmas Village for the event.

The main attraction is free professional photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, taken by Malorie Paine Photography. The first 100 kids in line will also receive a free holiday ornament painting kit from Pallets and Planks, sponsored by the MK Real Estate Team at Re/Max Excel.

“As we approach the holiday season, Santa’s Christmas Village offers a wonderful opportunity to create a new tradition in Central Wisconsin,” said John Harry, executive director of PCHS. “This event will transport you to a bygone era, where the joy of the season is celebrated with open hearts, historical charm, and the warmth of community.”

Carolers, hot cocoa, and holiday history gifts available for purchase at the PCHS General Store are also part of the festivities.
