To the Editor-

I am writing to endorse Bob Pahmeier as our next Portage County Supervisor for District 17.

I have known Bob and his wife Christine for nearly 20 years and have watched them as they raised their two sons, so I know their strong family values. Bob has the characteristics we should look for in our representatives – honesty, integrity, trustworthiness, reliability and reasonableness, just to list a few.

Having served his country and his community his entire life, Bob clearly has a calling for public service. After being honorably discharged from the military as a combat veteran with multiple overseas deployments, he transitioned into a 29-year career in federal law enforcement.

While working at the only federal prison in Wisconsin, Bob served as AFGE Local 3495 Union Vice President and Business Administrator. Here he gained valuable experience in government and legislation while still working closely with union staff and other government employees as well as the public.

Having experience ranging from duties of an entry level soldier and worker before advancing into management and administrative roles where he gained experience in budgeting, finance and business administration, Bob has the knowledge, background and field of experience to represent all members of our community.

Bob has risen through the ranks in every challenge and role he has ever undertaken. Through hard work, dedication and perseverance he has always excelled, advanced and succeeded personally and professionally.

For these reasons, I proudly support Bob Pahmeier to be our next Portage County Supervisor for District 17.
