Elks donates to Habitat for Humanity

Stevens Point Elks Lodge 641 recently presented a check for $500 to Central Wisconsin Habitat for Humanity.

 

 

 

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps people build or improve a place they can call home.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is a non-political, non-sectarian, and strictly American fraternity. Proposal for membership in the Order is only by invitation of a member in good standing. To be accepted as a member, one must be an American citizen, believe in God, be of good moral character, and be at least 21 years old.

Stevens Point Elks Lodge 641 was created in 1901. Its downtown location was dedicated over 80 years ago.
