Locations of DigiCOPY have begun collecting donations for area food pantries.

In an effort to battle the more than 600,000 people in Wisconsin trying to make ends meet, the company has installed food collection boxes in all of its locations, to include its Stevens Point location at 428 Division St.

“Food insecurity exists in every county and congressional district in Wisconsin, and across the country,” a news release from DigiCOPY reads in part. “But not everyone struggling with hunger qualifies for state or federal nutrition assistance.”

The company will collect nonperishable items during regular business hours; 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday – Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.

“Hunger doesn’t end at the holidays,” said Craig Shuler, CEO/President of DigiCOPY.

DigiCOPY is partnering with Feeding America for the food drive, Shulfer said. For more information, go to dcopy.net.
