May 11

Not Very Nice: Dispatchers reported at 9:05 a.m. a man, 60, from the 100 block of Main St. in Rosholt called into the communications center and was “yelling and swearing” at dispatchers.

Pull Over: A 25-year-old man was cited for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, driving without insurance and operating after suspension at 11:33 a.m. near Jackson Ave. and Plover Rd.

Motorist Assist: Deputies helped a 29-year-old woman access her vehicle at 3:35 p.m. after she called to report her child was locked in the car on the 3300 block of Main St.

Battery: Police arrested a 44-year-old man on multiple charges of battery and disorderly conduct and domestic abuse following an incident on the 1800 block of Portage St. at 12:06 a.m.

Noisy Neighbors: A caller reported loud music and people talking outside on the 3000 block of Oak St. at 3:07 a.m.

Failure to Yield: A 22-year-old woman was cited for failure to yield a right-of-way from a stop sign at Isadore St. and Fourth Ave. at 12:48 p.m. following a two-vehicle crash.

Flasher: A 21-year-old woman called police at 3:30 p.m. to report a man unknown to her had exposed himself on the 1400 block of Rogers St.

Bike Thief: A 58-year-old woman reported her bicycle was stolen from the 1300 block of Briggs Court at 11:10 p.m. No description was immediately available.

May 12

Trespassers: Employees from CN called police at 10:36 p.m. to report five men, ages 19 and 20, were trespassing on a West Cottage St. bridge.

Fire: Crews responded to a shed fire on the 3900 block of County Trunk Y at 11:14 a.m. No injuries were reported.

Assault: A 49-year-old woman came to the Stevens Point Police Dept. at 3 p.m. to report an assault.

Too Cheap To Buy Mom a Gift: Police report a 23-year-old man is suspected of stealing two hanging plants from the downtown location of Shopko at 2:33 a.m.

Loud Party: A 26-year-old man was warned for loud music after a neighbor reported a party on the 100 block of Minnesota Ave. at 2:59 a.m.

Crash: A 36-year-old woman was cited by policy following a single-vehicle crash near Fremont and Main streets at 7:57 a.m. Citations include speeding, operating without a license, operating without insurance and driving an unregistered vehicle.

Suspicious Man: A 21-year-old woman called police at 6:07 p.m. to report a man unknown to her opened the door to her residence on the 3100 block of Rice St.

May 13

Sex Assault: Police were called to the 200 block of Prentice St. at 5:35 p.m. after a caller reported an assault there.
