Annual ‘Women in Business’ event scheduled for Dec. 8

The Portage Co. Business Council will hold its annual Women in Business luncheon at the Holiday Inn & Convention Center on Dec. 8.
The event is open to the public and includes lunch, a complimentary swag bag, door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and networking. Women in Business is sponsored by Sentry and open to the public.
The event will be held from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Convention Center, 1001 Amber Ave. in Stevens Point.
Tickets are $32 for members of the Portage Co. Business Council and $37 for non-members. Registration deadline is Friday, Dec. 1.
The program will feature award-winning presenter Paula Houlihan, an executive coach and retreat leader.
Houlihan’s program, “Stop Wasting Time Managing Time,” is not about how well you manage your time. It’s about how well you manage your choices.
Houlihan’s Choice Management System will offer:
– An exercise to reveal where your time is going
– Why time management isn’t working
– Four steps you can take now to put time back in your control
Houlihan holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UW-Stevens Point. She is a Certified Intrinsic Life Coach and a lifetime member of the Psi Chi, the International Honor Society of Psychology. She lives in Stevens Point with her husband Tamas.
