UW-Stevens Point to host 49th annual International Dinner

Take a trip around the world through food and entertainment at the 49th annual International Dinner at the UW-Stevens Point next month.

Beginning at 5 p.m., Saturday, April 4, at the Laird Room of the Dreyfus University Center, 1015 Reserve St., Stevens Point, the event is hosted by the International Club student organization. With the theme “International Film,” formal attire is recommended.

The evening begins with appetizers, followed by dinner at 5:45 p.m. and entertainment performed by students at 7:15 p.m. A silent auction and flag display also are planned.

The dinner menu includes foods from the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, and Europe, including Lebanese baked falafel with tahini sauce. Among the entertainment is a Chinese pop-dance performed by two international students.

Tickets are $25 for community members and $15 for students and children. Tickets are limited and sell out quickly, with a deadline of Wednesday, March 25.
