Traffic lanes shifted on Church St. following water main break

Stevens Point streets crews have reopened southbound lanes of Church St. following repairs to a water main break.

The break was reported shortly before 11 p.m. on Feb. 23 on the 3200 block of Church St., just north of the street light at Bus. 51 and River View Ave.

According to Craig Czaikowski, superintendent for construction and maintenance for the city’s utility department, the southbound lanes were closed until Friday afternoon.
