Kellie J. Olds, 52

Kellie J. Olds, of Stevens Point, passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully on April 19, 2024, in her home, at the age of 52.

Kellie was born October 8, 1971, in Stevens Point, the daughter of Kenneth and Alice (née Orlikowski) Olds. She grew up in the area, participating in a variety of sports from a young age on. She graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High with the Class of 1990.

Following high school, Kellie joined the workforce at Anchor Bank and dedicated over 25 years of her career to them. Shortly after Anchor Bank became Old National Bank, Kellie switched employers and began working for Associated Bank, where she remained until her passing.

While Kellie was proud of her career, her proudest moments in life were the birth of her daughter, Taylor Olds, on October 13, 1995, and the birth of her grandson, Auden Lenzo, on April 20, 2017.

Kellie found joy in all life had to offer; her open-minded spirit and her big heart led her to form long-lasting friendships and develop a variety of hobbies. For over 10 years, she was a part of a Trivia Group Family, participating in trivia contests with her team, “Hold Still, I’m Trying to be Friendly.”

She tried her hand at several crafts including cross stitch, which were beautifully done, drawing small pictures freehand, painting ceramics, and trying new recipes.

From childhood on, Kellie was a kind soul, always concerned for others and willing to give whatever she could to someone in need. To Kellie, it didn’t matter if they needed a small material item or a big hug; she was sure to be there for them. Her tender heart was often displayed through tears when she watched a touching movie or heard a song that spoke to her. There is no doubt, Kellie will be missed by many.

Kellie is survived by her mother, Alice Olds; her daughter, Taylor (Damian Lenzo) Olds; and her grandson, Auden Lenzo. She is further survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Kerrie (Norm) Niewiadomski; her niece, Sierra Niewiadomski; her nephews, Dylan and Dakota Niewiadomski; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and best friends, Donnie and Margo, Carrie, Tammie, and Heidi.

Kellie was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth W. Olds; her sister, Krista R. Olds; her paternal grandparents, Vernon and Virginia (Dean) Olds; her maternal grandparents, Henry and LaVerne (Chilsen) Orlikowski; and her friends, Stacey Goodwin and Trevor Hintz.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Shuda Funeral Home for the compassionate care of our beloved mother after her passing.

A Life Celebration will be held to honor Kellie’s life on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 4-7 p.m. at Shuda Funeral Chapel, 3200 Stanley St., Stevens Point.
