Stevens Point Brewery launches new variety pack cans

The Stevens Point Brewery has introduced the new 12-can Hydration Pack, Hibernation Pack, and Fall Fest Pack—with a mix of styles tailored to the changing seasons, with graphics to match.

One attribute working in favor of 12-ounce cans is portability. Point Marketing Director Julie Birrenkott said, “We’re embracing outdoor adventures with the graphics. The summer ‘Hydration Pack’ shouts ‘bring me on the water,’ our ‘Fall Fest Pack’ is ready for a tailgate or harvest festival, and our ‘Hibernation Pack’ is suited to sneak into ice-fishing shacks and ugly sweater parties.”

On each package, seasoned fans of the Stevens Point Brewery will also find the brewery’s iconic conehead mascot soaking up the seasons’ offerings.

“Working at the brewery, we sometimes take for granted how much our customers love the conehead,” said Brewery Operating Partner Joe Martino. “Whether they think it’s cool, quirky, or just unusual, the conehead always puts a smile on people’s faces.”

Since sampling new styles are such an important part of variety packs, Point Brewmaster Mike Schraufnagel was careful to pair styles that complement one another as well as the season.

“The ‘Hydration Pack’ is for spring/summer, and features our lightest, refreshing Drop Dead Blonde, our citrusy summer wheat Lake Side, our Classic Amber Lager, and Hoptastic Pale Ale. Around autumn, ‘Fall Fest Pack’ showcases our award-winning Oktoberfest and our dark, delicious Milkshake Malt Porter. Last, cold-weather ‘Hibernation Pack’ sneaks in Snow Pilot Pistachio Nut Brown for a little more seasonal sweetness.”
