Several Easter Egg hunts across the area on Saturday

Portage Co. communities offer several Easter Egg hunts and related opportunities for area families:
Saturday, March 30
- 9:45-10:30 a.m., Downtown Easter Egg Hunt @Mathias Mitchell Downtown Square
There are 3 age categories for kids 8 and under. Ages under 3 will begin at 10 a.m. with older children to follow. Easter Eggs are stuffed with treats including candy, coupons for local businesses, and slips to receive bikes and Easter baskets.
- 10 a.m. @ Jensen Community Center, 487 N. Main St., Amherst
- 10 a.m. @ Stockton Fire Department, 7252 6th St., Custer
The event is free to the public and the Easter Egg Hunt will be separated into age groups (0-3, 4-7, and 8-10). Registration begins at 10 and the Easter Egg Hunt will start at 11 a.m.
- Easter Eggstravaganza at St. Joe’s, 1709 Wyatt St, Stevens Point
Open to the public, for ages 9 and under. Hunt starts after the food blessing, or 12:30 p.m., followed by games and crafts in the family center. Children play games, win tickets for a chances to win one of 10 door prizes.
Saturday, April 6
- 10 a.m. to noon, held inside @ St. Paul Lutheran, 1919 Wyatt Ave., Stevens Point. Easter-themed stations including crafts, an egg hunt, storytime, and snacks.
