Sandy A. Glodoski, 76

Sandy A. Glodoski, 76, of Stevens Point passed away peacefully on December 10, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Sandy was born on January 25, 1947, to Joseph and Agnus Tomaszewski in Stevens Point where she attended Maria High School.

On June 17,1967, she married the love of her life, Gary Glodoski at St. Peters Church in Stevens Point.  Together they had four wonderful children: Joseph (Ali) Glodoski, Becky (Ben) Alba, Holly (Brad) Lilly, and Abby (Jerry) King.  The love for her children was only outshined by the love she had for her beautiful grandchildren, Sam, Grace, Max, Mitch, Jacob, Avery, Ada, and Kara. She adored them as much as they adored her.

Sandy was a kind, caring, and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own.  She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity.  She was an inspiration to all of us and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Over the years, she worked for Sentry, RJ Graphics, the U.S. Curling Association, and Ideas Associates.

Sandy had many talents, including being an amazing seamstress and quilter.  She was known for her beautiful quilts and Angel Wings baptismal gowns.  Her patience and the eye of a perfectionist created unforgettable beauty.

She and Gary created memories of a lifetime traveling overseas to many European cities.

She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Agnus Tomaszewski, mother-in-law Mary Glodoski, and sister-in-law Dorothy Molski. Sandy is survived by her husband Gary, children, Joseph (Ali) Plainfield, Ill., Becky (Ben) Franklin, Wis., Holly (Brad) Plover, Abby (Jerry), Plover; her grandchildren Sam, Grace, Max. Mitch, Jacob, Avery, Ada, and Kara. She is further survived by one brother John (Linda) Tomaszewski of Stevens Point; sister-in-law Annette (Dick) Jaworski Stevens Point, brother-in-law Jerry Molski, Wisconsin Rapids, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.  A cause that was close to her heart, or St. Peter’s Parish.
