About 1,750 Wisconsin Public Services customers are without power.

That’s down from the 3,000 or so who previously lost power as a result of the Tuesday night snow storm.

The outage was reported to WPS at 5:29 p.m. on April 2, stemming from an “equipment problem” at a WPS transformer near Casimir Rd.

A spokesperson for WPS said a repair crew was on its way, and the estimated power restoration time is 7:30 p.m.
