Monteverdi Chorale schedules Christmas concerts

The Monteverdi Chorale plans to hold two live performances next month—the first live concerts it has held since the onset of the pandemic.

The show titled “Peace, Love, and Hope,” under the direction of Artistic Director Cody Miller, will feature holiday favorites including “We Wish You A Merry Christmas,” “Adeste Fidelis,” and more.

A Dec. 3 concert is scheduled at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 600 Wilshire Blvd., at 7:30 p.m. A second concert will be held at 3 p.m. on Dec. 5 will be held at Holy Spirit Parish (formerly St. Stanislaus), 2151 Stanley St.

Masks will be required for all attendees and anyone exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 is asked to stay home.

Monteverdi plans to offer in-person performances for the remainder of the 2021-22 season, which will continue in February.
