Libraries host Valentine’s Day parties

Three branch libraries are holding special Valentine’s Day parties for all ages.

Participants can make cards for their friends and for shut-in seniors via Connecting Portage County. Games and snacks will also be offered.

“The senior shut-ins that we serve are always grateful to be the recipient of the children’s artwork,” said Laura Fuller, branch librarian in Plover.

Three different days and times are being offered: Thursday, Feb. 1 at 4 PM at the Rosholt Branch, 137 N Main St.; Friday, Feb. 9 at 4 PM at the Almond Branch, 122 Main St. in Almond; and Tuesday, and Feb. 13 at 4:30 PM at the Plover Branch, 2151 Roosevelt Drive.
