Lee Author “Buck” Wiley, Jr., 55

Lee Author “Buck” Wiley, Jr., age 55 of Stevens Point, passed away unexpectedly March 1, 2019 at his, home of natural causes.

A celebration of life service for Lee will be held at 2 p.m. on Wed., March 6, at the Shuda Funeral Chapel, 3200 Stanley St., Stevens Point. Pastor Dave Ficken will officiate.

Friends and family will gather to share memories from noon Wednesday until the time of service at Shuda’s.

Lee was born February 15, 1964, in Rolling Fork, Miss. He is the son of Lee and Mamie E. (Branch-Montgomery) Wiley. Lee graduated high school in 1983 from Rolling Fork Junior Senior High where he was a devoted saxophone player and won many awards. After graduating he started working for the Mississippi Christian Family Service as a vocational teacher helping people in the industrial setting, teaching upholstery and auto mechanics. On weekends he would do respite care for handicapped people.

He then moved to Milwaukee, Wis., where he met his wife Tina (Evins) Wiley. The couple married in 2001. He continued as a independent auto mechanic and enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing and grilling. He joined Ephesians Missionary Baptist Church where he served as armor-bearer for Pastor Joe H. Todd. After that, the family moved and retired to Stevens Point.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Wiley; children, Anthony (Shante) Evins, Annette (Maurice) Evins, Adrian (Brittany) McDonald, Andre (Jenna) McDonald, Eric McDonald Jr, Alex (Robin) McDonald; and grandchildren, Ayveeon, Somara, Neveah, Ayvin, Lyric, Lyra, London, Akasha. Also survived by his brother Ardell D. Wiley; his sister, Mary (Dennis) Branch-Tripp-Harris; other sisters and brothers from his father’s side; and nieces, Monica, Altheia and Desta. Nephews; Gregory, Curtis, and grandnephew.
