Group offers canine CPR, first aid class

A canine first aid class is being offered next month at the Knights of Columbus hall on the city’s west side.

The Dog Groomers will hold a dog CPR and first aid class, using canine mannequins. The class will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11. The class fee is $50 per person and the registration deadline is Dec. 4.

The course includes hands-on training on a wide variety of potential situations including choking, shock, drowning, lacerations, breaks, burns, and more, and a canine medic book. Snacks and coffee will be provided.
