County seeks applicants for various boards and committees

Portage County Executive John Pavelski is seeking applications for several committees.

• Board of Adjustment. Applicants must be a resident of Portage County but not live in an incorporated city or village.
• Library Board. Applicant must be a resident of Portage County.
• Veterans Services. Applicant must be a resident of Portage County and be a veteran of the United States Armed Forces.

Any qualified applicant can be appointed, though all appointments need to be confirmed by the county’s Executive Operations Committee and Portage Co. Board of Supervisors.

Committee members receive a stipend and are entitled to mileage reimbursement.

Interested parties can apply online here. Applicants are due November 14.
