Metro Wire Staff

The Village of Plover will host the 2021 Wisconsin Korean War Veterans Memorial Ceremony on Sunday, June 6.

The program begins at 10:45 a.m., rain or shine, at the Memorial in Plover.

Korean War veterans and their families, veterans from all branches of service, and the public are invited
to attend.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket, and an umbrella. A limited amount of seating is available at the Memorial, but attendees will be asked to social distance themselves from others outside of their family groups.

The Memorial is located south of the Village Park shopping plaza on the south end of Worzella Pines Park. From I-39, take County Hwy. B west into Plover, then turn south on Village Park Dr. and follow the signs.

Parking areas will be marked and restroom facilities will be available for use through the Sentry Curling Center, which replaced the Worzella Pines Shelter in 2020.
