Metro Wire Staff

The Riverfront Arts Center seeks submissions for the 25th annual Visions Fine Art Exhibit, Visions XXV, which is an open theme, open media, juried exhibit featuring $600 in cash prizes.

The event is sponsored in memory of Wilma L. Pfiffner. This year’s juror, Deborah Wage, will award one artist with a $300 Best in Show Award and three additional artists with $100 Honorable Mention Awards.

Submissions for the jury will be taken on Thursday, May 30, and Friday, May 31, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Riverfront Arts Center. Digital submissions may be accepted for special circumstances. While all work will be considered, not all will be selected for the exhibit.

Full requirements and submission forms are available at www.stevenspoint.com/RAC.

The opening reception for Visions XXV is scheduled for Thursday, June 13, from 4:30-7 p.m., and the exhibit will be on display until Sunday, August 4.

The Riverfront Arts Center is open to the public free of charge, although donations are always welcomed. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and weekends 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The center is closed on holidays and between exhibits.
