Trigs transitions to Festival Foods banner

Trig’s grocery store has transitioned to the Festival Foods banner.

The store, located at 1600 Academy Ave., opened as Festival Foods on Dec. 3. Skogen’s Festival Foods also acquired stores from the T.A. Solberg Company in Wausau and Weston, which will open later this week.

With the three new locations, Skogen’s will now operate 39 locations in Wisconsin.

Founded in 1946 as Skogen’s IGA, Festival Foods is a Wisconsin family- and employee-owned grocer. The company began operating as Festival Foods in 1990 and today employs nearly 8,000 full- and part-time associates.
