Teresa L. (née Schatzel) Yoder-McEldowney, 70

Teresa L. (née Schatzel) Yoder-McEldowney, age 70, passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2022, at her home in Plover.

Teresa was born on January 31, 1952, in Marietta, Ohio to the late Augustin and Florence (Mikis) Schatzel. Teresa graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School (Radnor, Penn.) in 1970. She received her American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in 1972 and in 1999 graduated from Nicolet Area Technical College with an Associate’s degree in accounting.

Terry was a dedicated daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother first and foremost. She loved to love people. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved and rocked her role as “Gammy” and was a loving and avid supporter of any and all interests her grandchildren had.

Her love of sports (especially volleyball), gardening, card games, crossword puzzles, photography, live music, dogs, and time with family will live on through the hearts, minds, and actions of her family and friends. She had a vivacious, spirited, selfless personality that would light up any room she was in.

Terry is survived by her four children Heather (Mike) Lisitza, Brent Yoder, Timothy Yoder, and Natalie Yoder; her five grandchildren Dylan, Addison, Elias, Gage, and Lena; and her three sisters Claudia Minicozzi, Janice Balson, and Nancy Blain.

Terry rejoins her loved ones and is now reunited with her lifelong best friend and sister MaryJo Duckett, her parents Augustin and Florence Schatzel, her brothers Robert and Thomas Schatzel, and her grandson Maverick, and her beloved dogs (Beata, Brittany, Jezebel, and Madison).

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church, 3200 Plover Rd., Plover, with Fr. Eric Mashak officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

Following the service, a celebration of her life (Gammy Jam 2022) will continue at Anchor Bay Bar and Grill, 3460 North Biron Drive, Wisconsin Rapids. If you are unable to make church and are able to come to the celebration at Anchor Bay please do so.
