SPACVB announces new staff, ’24 board

The Stevens Point Area Visitor and Convention and Bureau is boasting some new faces.

Megan Vruwink is the organization’s new director of marketing. She’s a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and is originally from central Wisconsin.

Vruwink interned with the SPACVB as a college student.

In her new role, Vruwink will be responsible for the strategic implementation of the bureau’s marketing campaigns and public relations efforts.

Tessa Nieberle is the new content and visitor experience manager. She began working with the SPACVB as a marketing intern in 2021, and transitioned to a full-time role before graduating from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in December 2023.

Nieberle brings enthusiasm for the outdoors and a customer service background to her role, in which she will manage content to support SPACVB’s digital media presence and serve as the lead on visitor experience for the downtown Visitors Center.

The SPACVB also announced its 2024 Board officers and members:
