Sheriff calls, June 22-24

June 22

10 a.m., a caller reported someone had stolen extension cords from a business at 35 Park Ridge Dr.

10 a.m., a 29-year-old man was arrested on a bail-jumping charge at 1500 Strongs Ave. after repeatedly missing court-ordered appointments.

1:39 p.m., a 19-year-old man called deputies for information on blackmail. The man had reportedly exposed himself online to a woman.

3:49 p.m., deputies were called to the 1400 block of North Second Dr. after a caller reported a dispute between a 36-year-old man and his sister, 31. The parties were separated for the night.

7:34 p.m., deputies arrested a 23-year-old man on charges of resisting an officer and causing bodily harm to a 24-year-old man on the 1500 block of Torun Rd.

June 23

12:21 p.m., deputies arrested a 37-year-old man on a battery charge from the 8700 block of Packer Ave. in Amherst.

9:42 p.m., a 28-year-old man called the police to report his brother was threatening him via Facebook. The man was advised to block his sibling from contacting him.

June 24

9:04 a.m., a 44-year-old woman called deputies fro, the 176-mile marker on I-39 to report the driver of a van was smoking a marijuana pipe while driving. No further information was reported.

1:31 p.m., a 31-year-old woman called deputies to report her minor son was causing a disturbance in their home on the 400 block of Morgan Ave. in Junction City. A deputy spoke with the child and he agreed to listen to his mother.
