PCBC announces ‘Creative Excellence’ awardees

The Portage Co. Business Council has announced its selections for this year’s Creative Excellence Awards.
Winners will be honored at the 2023 Creative Excellence Awards Breakfast on Friday, April 14, at the Holiday Inn Convention Center, 1001 Amber Ave.
Check-in begins at 7:15 a.m. and breakfast is served at 7:30. Registration is required and costs $27 for members, and $32/person for prospective members of the PCBC.
This year’s awardees are:
- Entrepreneur of the Year: Fall Line Outfitters
- Portage County Charitable Community Award: Portage County Historical Society
- Young Professional of the Year: Mikayla Kleifgen from the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County
- Golden Apple Excellence in Education Award: Joe Zawacki from Pacelli High School
The keynote speaker for the event is Jeff Ebel, who will be presenting “The Pathways to Excellence.” The award presentation begins at 8:30 a.m. with Phil Jimenez, sales manager of NRG Media, as the master of ceremonies.
