Letter: Pavelski will leave politics at the door

To the Editor-

It is time to choose a County Executive who does not play politics, who is unbiased and who has the people’s best interest in Portage County.

Having lived in Portage County for most of my life I have seen the charades, the agendas, and the political theatre being played by many, I was sick of seeing it. It’s time for transparency and honest leaders to step forth. As county executive, John Pavelski will do just as he says.

I have known John and worked alongside him and I can honestly tell you he is a man of integrity and will do what is right. John will represent the people of Portage County in a fair and honest effort and will bring transparency to the people who deserve better than those who have hidden agendas.

The special interests of Mr. Olson who has hitched his wagon to unions and those groups who have an agenda and want special favors, it’s over! It’s time to clean things up in Portage County. It’s the people’s county, John has chosen not to take any endorsements from special interest, political parties, people, or special interest groups. John is a concerned and caring citizen and not a politician.

I would encourage you to vote and make a change for the people that deserve better in Portage County. People all over the country are waking up and seeing that we are in deep need of the transparency, honesty, and integrity that the voters deserve. Please tell your friends and family it’s time for a change and to vote for John Pavelski, that time is now.
