Kory L. Shields, 34

Kory L. Shields, age 34 of Stevens Point, passed away at his home March 16, 2020, after suffering a pulmonary embolism.

Kory’s family will gather to honor him on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at the Shuda Funeral Chapel, 3200 Stanley St. in Stevens Point. Due to the COVID-19, the visitation will take place from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, in shifts to greet the family and offer condolences. The door will be worked for everyone’s safety and following state guidelines.

A memorial in lieu of flowers will be established in Kory’s name.

Kory was born May 9, 1985, in Stevens Point, the son of Frank and Tammy (Fink) Shields. He graduated from SPASH in 2004. Kory began his career in the family business, Esser Glass, working as a glazier, out of high school. He was always there for his family, helping at work and at home. He enjoyed playing with the family dogs, gaming, the outdoors, and was an avid Packer fan.

Kory is survived by his parents Frank and Tammy; his brother Peter, and his maternal grandparents Glen (Mary Ann) Fink.
