John T. Pawlowski

John T. Pawlowski of Nekoosa passed away on January 12, 2022, at Aspirus Hospital Wausau.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek at 11 a.m. Friends and family may gather to share memories from 9:30 until the time of services on Saturday at Church. Burial will take place at a later date.

John was born January 5, 1961, to the late Felix and Dorothy (Ceplina) Pawlowski.

John graduated from SPASH in 1979 and in 1981 he graduated from Mid-State Technical Institute in Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Equipment repair.

As a young man he was employed at Westgate Grocery, the Worth company, and Corenso North America, John, also was the sound technician for the New Edition Band.

John had a passion for antique tractors, history, and politics. He also enjoyed NASCAR, the Brewers, and the Packers.

John is survived by his sons: Jonathon Pawlowski, Texas, Dan (Lisa) Pawlowski, Port Edwards, Grand Children Kamryn, Christopher, Jase, Austin, and Addison, brother: Richard (Linda) Pawlowski, Plover; sister: Marcia Ceresero, Rosholt; and dear friend: Carol Weigel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law, Bridget Pawlowski, and brother-in-law Gerald “Jerry” Ceresero.
