Jamie Lynn (Ballweg) Kinney, 40

Jamie Lynn (Ballweg) Kinney, age 40, passed away May 19, 2019, at her home in Stevens Point surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jamie was the daughter of Terry and Melody (Price) Ballweg of Sauk City, Wis. She graduated from Sauk Prairie High School and later moved to Stevens Point where she met Dean, the love of her life in 2001.

After 18 years of being together, she and Dean Kinney finally tied the knot on April 6, 2019.

Jamie loved the Brewers, Packers, fishing, playing darts, garage sales, being with her wonderful friends and helping out around her Mom’s farmette. Mostly Jamie loved spending time with her husband and best friend Dean.

Jamie worked for AIG in Stevens Point and was very thankful for their support.

We would also like to thank the outstanding team at St. Michael’s Cancer Center with special mention to Ashley. Ascension Hospice for their support, the Cancer Patient Care Givers Support Group at the Stevens Point Marshfield Clinic.

Many thanks to her wonderful family and friends that were always there for her. Special thanks to Leanne and Stacie who did so much and asked for so little.

Jamie is survived by her beloved husband Dean, her mother Melody (Price) Ballweg; her grandmother Lois (Shimniok) Price; her aunts and uncles: Mike (Denise) Price, Marcia (Johnny Gerbitz) Price, Jim (Lori) Price, Mary (Steve) Williams, Cheryl Gunn, Larry Scott, and Gerald Gunn; her many cousins; and their children; mother-in-law, Maxine Kinney; and brothers-in-law Gary (LeAnne) Marquard, and Chad Antill.

Jamie was preceded in death by her father Terry Ballweg, her grandparents Bernadette (Schwab) and Oswald Ballweg, her grandfather James Price, and her aunt and godmother Kathleen (Ballweg) Scott.

A Time of Remembrance and Sharing of Memories will be held from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Boston Funeral Home.

Jamie was loved by so many and will be missed by everyone who knew her. Jamie’s Journey has ended.
