City crews will close down a portion of Hwy. 10 East beginning next week.

The Stevens Point Public Utilities Department will shut down the southern-most eastbound lane of Hwy. 10 between Old Hwy 18 Rd./Maple Bluff Rd. and Brilowski Rd. from June 7-18.

Utility crews will be conducting repairs to storm sewer inlets, according to Utilities Director Joel Lemke.

Traffic lanes will be shifted closer to the gutter beginning on Friday, June 4.

Motorists should expect eastbound traffic delays and plan accordingly.

Questions about this lane closure can be directed to Craig Czaikowski, construction and maintenance superintendent for the utility department, at [email protected] or to 715-342-4837.
