Gaylord L. Lepper, 88

Gaylord L. Lepper, age 88, of Mosinee, passed away peacefully, on Saturday morning, October 22, 2022, at Aspirus Hospital-Plover with his family at his side.

He was born on April 7, 1934, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Walter and Ruby (Philbrick) Lepper.

Gaylord attended P.J. Jacobs High School.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953 to 1957.

On November 24, 1962, he was united in marriage to the former Louise Pawlik at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point. The couple made their home in the Town of Guenther, Marathon County.

He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. In his free time, he enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, bird watching, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Louise; children, Kevin (Patty), Collin (Amy), Melanie (David), Tim (Becky), and Ryan; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Bob (Barb), Dennis (Irene), and Judy Molski; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Gaylord was preceded in death by his parents and 13 siblings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter Catholic Church, 800 Fourth Ave., Stevens Point at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022, with the Rev. Arul Joseph Visuvasam officiating.

A private burial will be at a later date at Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday in the St. Faustina Room of St. Peter Church from 9 a.m. until the time of the mass.
