Gamber-Johnson, Schierl, to host employer healthcare conference

Gamber-Johnson and Team Schierl Companies along with additional business partners are hosting a special presentation on best practices for employer-provided healthcare.

The free presentation will offer strategies for employers to save on their bottom lines while offering improved healthcare services to employees and their families “while gaining a recruiting and retention advantage.”

Guest speakers include Phillip Blair, human resources director for Gamber-Johnson, Matt Ohrt, director of administration for Team Schierl Companies, Mark Gelhaus, chief financial officer for Walker Forge, and Pat Blackaller, the director of finance for Rice Lake School District.

This event is free and open to all area businesses. Lunch will be provided to all attendees.

The Employer Healthcare Best Practice Conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 7 at Gamber-Johnson, 5001 Joerns Dr. in Stevens Point.
