David Kruzitski, 75

David Kruzitski, age 75 of Stevens Point, passed away Thursday evening August 9, 2018, at his home surrounded by his loving family, and under the care of Heartland Hospice.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Dave will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 14, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Rev. Dennis Stanchik will officiate. Friends and family will gather to share memories from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the mass at the church. Shuda Funeral Service is honored to assist the family.

Dave was born October 17, 1942, in Portage County, the son of Edward and Belvina (Daczyk) Kruzitski. He married Judy Grzywacz on November 9, 1963, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. The couple settled in Stevens Point. Dave worked as an Iron Worker for Union Local 383 until his retirement in 2004. Since that time, up until two years ago, Dave drove a truck for Worzella & Sons.

Dave was an avid sports fan, he especially enjoyed following the Packers, Brewers, Sharks, and NASCAR. He liked to hunt and fish, take care of his garden, but most of all spend time with family including his beloved grandsons. He was a member of the Elks, Moose, and Knights of Columbus.

Dave is survived by his wife Judy; son Corey Kruzitski, Stevens Point; daughter Tracey (Kyle) Kozickowski, Stevens Point; grandsons: Josh Koziczkowski, Stevens Point and Brett (Sarah) Koziczkowski, Forney, Texas. Three brothers: Joseph Kruzitski, Wisconsin Rapids; James (Virginia) Kruzitski, Pickerel, Wis.; Edward (Jean) Kruzitski, Stevens Point. Two sisters: Frances (Hubert) Kaminski, Stevens Point and Audrey Bemowski, Plover.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three siblings: Harry and John Kruzitski and Patricia Studinski.
