County schedules discussion to answer COVID questions

The public is asked to submit questions for a panel discussion on COVID-19.

The meeting, described by County Executive Chris Holman’s office as a “virtual town hall” will be a pre-recorded meeting published on the county’s COVID-19 dashboard the week of Oct. 12. 

The meeting is being hosted by Portage County Business Council in partnership with Portage County. Panel members will provide a brief presentation on COVID-19 community response and will answer
questions submitted by community members in advance.

Panelists include:

• Portage County HHS Director, Ray Przybelski
• Portage County Public Health Officer, Gary Garske
• Portage County Public Health Contact Tracer, Brad Johnson
• VP of Aspirus Stevens Point Clinic, Robert Smith
• Director of Student Health Services at UW-Stevens Point, Dr. Helen Luce
• Emergency Medicine Physician and EMS Medicine Physician at Ascension, Dr. Michael Clark

The panel will be moderated by elder law attorney Amy Eddy from Anderson O’Brien Law Firm in Stevens Point.
