Library to open annual used book sale July 19

The Portage County Public Library will hold its annual book sale on July 19 and 20.

Gently used books, DVDs, CDs, and other items will be sold from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, July 19, and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Patrons are asked to use the outside doors of the Pinery Room.

“This sale allows for us to get new and updated materials for the library,” said Nicole Ozanich, the library’s assistant director. “We also like to see our materials find a second life in a nice new home.”

The main branch of the library is located at 1001 Main St. in downtown Stevens Point.
