Metro Wire Staff

Two local music acts will fill downtown Stevens Point with music on Friday, Aug. 21.

Chaz’nGerry, an “acoustically electric eclectic duo,” begins their performance at 6 p.m. Concertgoers are encouraged to purchase food and beverages from downtown businesses prior to the show and during intermission.

Following a break, Stevens Point-based alt-rock bank Scorched Waves, comprised of teens from SPASH and Point of Discover School, will perform until about 9 p.m.

The show is free, family-friendly, and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, bring a face mask, and to socially distance.
