SPASH announces 2018 Hall of Fame

SPASH Athletics has announced its 2018 inductees for its Hall of Fame.
Inductees include Beth Mendyke Glodowski; Pete Clark; its 1979 baseball team; Jim Mendyke Sr.; Jerry Fitzgerald; and John Hyland.
The induction ceremony will be held Sept. 21 in the SentryWorld Atrium, 601 North Michigan Ave. Social hour begins at 7 p.m., with the ceremony scheduled at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $25 and include appetizers. A cash bar will be available during the reception.
“The Stevens Point Area Senior High Athletic Hall of Fame is a tribute to outstanding individuals and athletes who, through their achievements, have brought honor to themselves, to their school and to their community,” a news release from SPASH Athletics reads in part.
