Some county services reopen at Ruth Gilfry

Some health and human services have reopened at the Ruth Gilfry Building.

Following several weeks of operating remotely or out of another location due to a water main break, adult protective and mental health services, crisis intervention, child abuse/neglect, Birth to Three, economic support, child support, and public health prenatal services have returned to the Ruth Gilfry Health and Human Services building at 817 Whiting Ave.

Other services remain in an alternative location. They follow:

Mental Health Medication Administration Room
Portage County Health Care Center| Follow the signs
825 Whiting Avenue
Hours: Monday through Thursday from 8-9 a.m., 3-4 p.m.; Friday from 8-9 a.m. and 2-3 p.m.

Community Health Clinic
Lincoln Center | ADRC Health Room
1519 Water Street
Hours: Tuesday from 3-5:30 p.m.

Life Point Program
Jefferson House | ROCC Point Program
2040 Jefferson Street
Hours: Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to noon

WIC Clinic
Stevens Point YMCA | Community Conference Room
1000 Division Street
Hours (beginning in August): Monday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
