Search ends for missing Waupaca man last seen in Stevens Point

Waupaca Co. law enforcement has ended its statewide searh for an endangered 26-year-old man who was last seen in Stevens Point.

Brandon Edward Colligan was last seen meeting a friend in Stevens Point for coffee at about 9:45 a.m. on June 10. He reportedly exited the coffee shop to retrieve an unknown item and did not return. The friend police that Colligan was acting strange but no further details were released.

Colligan’s vehicle was later found abandoned near his family’s home in Royalton in Waupaca Co. His phone and wallet were left in the vehicle, deputies say.

The Waupaca Co. Sheriff’s Office said it has searched the Little Wolf River utilizing dive teams, underwater imagery, the Waupaca County Drone Team, and other personnel throughout Saturday and Sunday.

The incident is still under investigation and no further details were released.
