Roxane L. Kizewski, 66

Roxane L. Kizewski, age 66, of Stevens Point passed away on February 20, 2023.

She was born on January 5, 1957 to Roman and Lucy (Firkus) Kizewski.

Roxane had a contagious laugh that filled people with joy and a love for spending time with family. She was actively involved in church and committed to her faith. In her free time, she was an avid cook and gardener, and enjoyed canning with her mother. Roxane had many talents; she was particularly gifted at holiday decorating and sugar-cookie baking. She was also passionate about learning Polish as a way to better connect to her roots.

Before ultimately taking her life, Roxane had lived with mental illnesses for years. Sadly, she passed away well before her time and before the necessary resources could help. She will be lovingly remembered as the mother, daughter, sister, auntie, and friend she was, before departing her loved ones.

Roxane is survived by her two daughters, Christine and Leeanne Gill; mother, Lucy and stepfather, Arthur Wysocki; brother, Lawrence (Arlene) Kizewski and sister, Lorraine (Eugene) Jacobs; nephews, Sam (Lindsay) Kizewski, Wade (Angie) Kizewski, Seth (Wendy) Kizewski, Rick (Sarah) and Jimbo (partner Kye) Jacobs; great nieces and nephews, Tayler (Steve Schara), Kaylee, Ava, Noah, Chloe, Caleb, Carly Kizewski, Kiran Jacobs, Roberta (Claudio) Paula and Sophia; and her former husband, Rodney Gill (Appleton).

Roxane is preceded in death by her father, Roman Kizewski (Rosholt), and first husband, Roger Lund (Eau Claire).
