The Riverfront Arts Center has announced an upcoming art exhibition focusing on Surrealism.
The 20th-century avant-garde movement aims to unleash the creative potential of the unconscious mind, and the RAC invites artists from all backgrounds and mediums to submit their work for consideration.
Artists interested in participating are encouraged to deliver their work on Thursday or Friday, April 18-19, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., or by appointment.
The opening reception for the exhibition will be held on Thursday, May 2, from 4:30-7 p.m., and provides a chance for art enthusiasts to mingle with fellow artists and immerse themselves in the captivating world of Surrealism.
Gallery visitors can explore the exhibition during regular gallery hours, Wednesday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and weekends, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The gallery is closed on holidays and between exhibits.
