March 9

Drunk and Speeding: Police arrested a 23-year-old man on charges of speeding and OWI during a traffic stop at Linwood Ave. and Park Ridge Dr. at 2:01 AM.

Piece of Work: A 32-year-old man was cited and arrested following a two-vehicle crash at 12:11 AM on I-39. Charges include non-registration of vehicle, open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, operating without a license, hit and run, display of unauthorized registration plate, reckless driving, third offense of operating while intoxicated, and second-degree reckless endangering safety.

Three-Way Crash: A 23-year-old man was cited for inattentive driving and causing a three-vehicle crash near Third and Water streets at 8:28 AM.

Assault: A 43-year-old woman reported to deputies that she’d been touched inappropriately by a man she knew in Bancroft.

Suspected Break-in: A 23-year-old woman called police at 9:59 AM to report she believed someone had broken into her home on the 600 block of Union St.

Probation Violator: Police arrested a 28-year-old man on the 1600 block of Maria Dr. at 9:28 PM for violating the absolute sobriety condition of his probation.

March 10

Running Man: Police arrested a 24-year-old man on the 1100 block of Main St. at 2:33 AM on an open warrant. Police say the man was intoxicated, and nabbed after running from a vehicle.

I Was Watching That: An 18-year-old man called 911 because his mother turned off the television at 10:13 PM.

Mailbox Fatality: A 77-year-old woman called police at 4 PM to report someone had damaged her mailbox. No address was listed.

Stolen Bike: A 21-year-old woman reported to police at 7:15 PM that a bicycle was stolen from her garage on the 2200 block of Sims Ave. No description of the bicycle was immediately released.

OWI: A 31-year-old man was arrested for his second OWI offense during a traffic stop near Division and Briggs streets at 8:52 PM. The man was pulled over for speeding.

A Whole Heap O’ Trouble: A 20-year-old woman was arrested for probation violation, possession of drug paraphernalia and possessing an illegally obtained prescription during a traffic stop near Second St. and Bukolt Ave. at 1:32 AM. The woman was also cited for driving without her headlights on, second offense OWI and operating while revoked.

Domestic Violence: Police arrested 44-year-old man on charges of possession of methamphetamine, strangulation and suffocation, and disorderly conduct, following a disturbance on the 2700 block of Lindbergh Ave. at 5:04 AM.
