Plover boy honored by Elks for K9 fundraiser

The Stevens Point Elks Lodge 641 honored a Plover boy for his efforts in fundraising.

Wyatt Dorn, 6, was recently presented the Elks Youth Citizen Award.

He raised just over $1,600 last year by inviting the community to view the Halloween inflatable display in his family’s yard for the purpose of raising funds for the K9 Unit at the Plover Police Department. He also sold visitors hot chocolate and cookies.

Wyatt is the son of Mike and Tanya Dorn of Plover.
