Mid-State’s fall commencement set for December 9

Mid-State Technical College will host its mid-year graduation with an indoor ceremony at the Wisconsin Rapids Campus.

The event takes place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, and will celebrate all graduating students, their families, and invited guests.

Phlebotomy Technician graduate Veronica Line, Stevens Point, will deliver the student address. The faculty send-off will be delivered by Nichol L. Riedel, Phlebotomy Technician instructor and program director.

The event will also feature an address from Mid-State’s Board Chairperson Richard Merdan and an alumni address from Mid-State’s 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award winner, Chet Laskowski, co-founder of Chet’s Plumbing & Heating, Inc.

In-person attendance is reserved for ticket holders. The event will also be livestreamed for anyone wishing to join remotely.
