Terrance “Terry” L. (Lee) Folz, 72
Terrance “Terry” L. (Lee) Folz, 72, of Stevens Point passed away late Wednesday evening, November 22, 2023 at House of the Dove Hospice Center in Marshfield.
Terry was born November 27, 1950 in Stevens Point. He was the son of the Roy and Dolores (née Bartkowiak) Folz. He attended local grade schools, graduating from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1969.
His marriage to Patricia Morgan took place on March 10, 1973 at Immaculate Conception St. Mary Church in Custer. After their marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point.
Terry worked for Roberts Irrigation for over 40 years until his retirement in 2015. He then worked as the head custodial and maintenance person at St. Bronislava Church until 2021.
In his free time, Terry enjoyed helping other people anyway he could. They also loved watching old Westerns, especially those with John Wayne, enjoyed Elvis Presley music, deer hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
Terry was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus Council 13880, and a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Bronislava Parish.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Terry’s name will be established at a later date.
Terry is survived by his wife Patricia, and their two sons, Keith and Aaron Folz, both of Stevens Point. Further survived by his three brothers Lee (Jean) Folz of Stevens Point, Neil (Mary) Folz of Wisconsin Rapids, and Mark (Stacey) Folz of Stevens Point. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Denise Folz.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023 at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 2900 Plover Rd. The Very Rev. Ed Shuttleworth officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Church in Custer. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Friday morning at the Pisarski Funeral Home until the time of services.
