Lorraine T. Kruzicki, 92

Lorraine T. Kruzicki, 92 of Stevens Point passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Dimensions Assisted Living in Stevens Point.

Lorraine was born August 28, 1931, in the Town of Stockton in Portage County. She was the daughter of the late Clements and Eleanor (née Richter) Konkol.

She married Edmund Kruzicki on May 26, 1951, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. After their marriage, the couple settled in Custer and later moved to Stevens Point. Lorraine worked at Sentry Hardware Mutual and later at JC Penny’s until her retirement.

Lorraine loved spending time with her family, reading, gardening, and her occasional trips to the casino. She was also a member of the Holy Spirit Rosary Society.

She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Those that knew her will remember her as being kind, generous, loving, supportive, and quick-witted. 

Lorraine’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Dimensions Assisted Living and Interim Hospice for their genuine compassion and care that she received.

Lorraine is survived by her children: Randal (Janet) Kruzicki of Stevens Point and their children, Matthew (Crystal and great-grandchildren Asher and River) and Tyler; Denise (Jim) Kieffer of Plover and their children Rachel and Ryan; Mary McCarron of Stevens Point; and Alan (Colleen) Kruzicki of Plover and their children Shannon (Cody) Gehrke and Jessica. Lorraine is also survived by her sisters Rosalie (Tom) Modrzewski and Renetta (Wayne) Miller.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edmund, her parents, and her two brothers David and Richard.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lorraine’s name can be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Lorraine will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2151 Stanley St. in Stevens Point. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Reverend Steven Brice will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
