Loretta Borski, 92

Loretta Borski, age 92, of Stevens Point passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Loretta will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception in Custer. Rev. Mark Miller will officiate. Friends and family may gather to share memories from 9-10:45 a.m. on Tuesday at church. Burial will be held at the parish cemetery.

Loretta was born on January 1, 1930, in Bevent, Wis. She was the daughter of Ladislaus and Proxceda (Herek) Grulkowski. Loretta attended local schools in Galloway. On August 18, 1952, Loretta married Adolph Borski Jr. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galloway. Loretta was a loving and caring mother raising 12 children. Her children and grandchildren meant everything to Loretta. In her earlier years, Loretta formerly worked at Kizewski Farms and Herrschners.

Loretta had a lot of hobbies which included: canning vegetables, crocheting, game shows, puzzles, trips to the casino, fishing, traveling, and the family vacation to Northern Wisconsin.

Loretta is survived by her 11 children: Paula (Tom) Ward, James (Danette) Borski, David Borski, Kevin (Judy) Borski, Kay (Maynard) Bembenek, Larry (Camille) Borski, Terry Borski, Alan (Linda) Borski, Scott (Janet) Borski, Todd (Sandy) Borski, and Gary (Kari) Borski, and son-in-law: Allan Trzebiatowski. She is further survived by 30 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren, two brothers: Walter (Sharon) Grulkowski and Hank (Elaine) Grulkowski, and her sister-in-law: Bonnie Simonson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Adolph, her parents, four sisters, four brothers, daughter Donna Trzebiatowski, and two daughters-in-law, Cindy Borski and Kim Borski.
